What we collect and retain (B2C account verification)
- Your verified name and date of birth received from DigiLocker.
- Your Aadhaar number in encrypted form. We do not store or display your full Aadhaar number in plain text; authorized systems and staff may see a masked identifier only.

- Scanned copies of identity documents uploaded by you in this flow — we use DigiLocker sharing instead and do not ask for uploads.
How the flow works
- You confirm consent before we start DigiLocker verification.
- DigiLocker opens in a secure window where you sign in using the mobile number linked to your Aadhaar and share your Aadhaar details with us.
- Verification is normally required only once per account unless re-verification is required later for security or regulatory reasons.
- If your Aadhaar-linked mobile number is inactive, you must update it with the relevant authority before continuing.
